KUALA LUMPUR: The Royal Malaysia Police will be seeking Interpol's assistance to find out the full identity and current whereabouts of comedian Jocelyn Chia, says said Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani.

He said the request would be made tomorrow so that further investigations could be carried out under Section 504/505(c) of the Penal Code and Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998.

Acryl Sani was speaking to reporters after the Hospital Visit programme in conjunction with the 216th Police Day celebrations at the Tunku Ampuan Besar Tuanku Aishah Rohani Hospital, UKM Specialists Children Hospital, Cheras today.

He said the police had also applied to the Malaysian Multimedia Communications Commission (MCMC) for user profiling to help with investigations into the social media accounts used by the comedian.

"We (police) have also transcribed the suspect's speech from the video clip," he said.

Last Saturday, Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail described the jokes made by comedian Jocelyn Chia on belittling Malaysia and making fun of the MH370 tragedy as insensitive and offensive.

Recently, Chia's video went viral when she performed a comedy skit, entitled 'Singapore vs Malaysia', mocking the tragedy of the missing plane, in addition to making offensive jokes which drew the outrage of some Malaysians.

PUTRAJAYA: The Royal Malaysian Customs Department (JKDM) is offering a reward to members of the public with information that leads to the arrests of syndicates or individuals involved in criminal activities, including drug trafficking, says Deputy Finance Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan.

He said, however, the offer does not apply to customs personnel because it is part of their job.

He said this during a media conference after officiating the meeting of the main committee of the Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) compliance programme here today.

It was reported that JKDM seized 454 kg of drugs worth nearly RM70 million in three raids mounted in Port Klang and the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Air Cargo Complex, Sepang earlier this month following the information it received from the Ministry of Interior of Saudi Arabia regarding the drugs-filled container which was making its way from South America to a country in South Asia.

On the drug smuggling case from Port Klang to Brisbane, Australia, Ahmad said the incident gave Malaysia a bad name.

"The government views the matter involving this loophole that led to the incident, seriously," he said, adding that the JKDM needs to improve monitoring, intelligence and sharing of information to curb the activities of drug trafficking syndicates passing through the country.

The media reported that Australian authorities seized 336 kg of drugs believed to be heroin estimated to be worth AUD268.8 million (RM789.56 million) from a shipping container from Malaysia to Brisbane on March 13.

Meanwhile, on the AEO, Ahmad said a total of 136 companies have obtained AEO accreditation from JKDM from 2022 until May this year, adding that it targeted 41 new companies to be accredited this year.

The National AEO programme aims to facilitate the goods clearance mechanism through integrated trade facilitation, cultivate more transparent corporate governance among stakeholders, and ensure payment of duties and taxes are collected more accurately to increase government revenue.

The initiative was introduced by the World Customs Organisation (WCO) in 2005 and had been implemented by the JKDM since 2010.

BANGI: The government has agreed to raise the living allowance (ESH) of Public Service Department (PSD) sponsored students for preparatory level up to advanced degrees both locally and abroad.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said the increase in the allowance would be enjoyed by students from July 1.

"The government has agreed that students will be receiving an additional RM100 (for PSD-sponsored students in the country).

"But spend prudently, do not waste, do not smoke vape. Think of 'halal' needs as I help because students are having problems with buying food, and books, so it will be a waste if not used wisely," he said.

He was speaking at a MADANI Engagement Session with the Prime Minister with PSD-sponsored students of institutions of higher learning at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), near here.

Meanwhile in a statement today, Anwar said the allowance increase involved 15 per cent of ESH for PSD-sponsored overseas students except for first-degree students in the United Kingdom (UK) whose ESH was raised on Nov 7 2022.

In addition, it involves a RM100 increase in ESH per month for domestic PSD-sponsored students according to the level of study.

"This increase in the ESH rate involves an increase in financial implications amounting to about RM52.03 million for six months starting this July which will benefit 43,595 PSD-sponsored students.

"The increase in the ESH rate is one of the government's efforts to deal with the high cost of living, especially for B40 students who live in big cities overseas," he said.

The Prime Minister said this initiative to revise the ESH rate will enable government-sponsored students to focus on achieving academic excellence without thinking about the financial burden of studies, while also ensuring that government-sponsored offers remain relevant and prestigious.

KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today reminded all parties not to distort the facts pertaining to the use of the word Allah to deceive the people.

When explaining the allegations that he had misled the Dewan Rakyat on the matter, Anwar stressed that he had not given any contradictory statements in regard to his audience with the Sultan of Selangor last week.

"What the Sultan of Selangor said in his statement (after the audience) was on the matter concerning the Cabinet's decision to seek the Rulers' consent for the word of Allah to be used in Peninsular Malaysia with restrictions for (non-Muslims in Sabah and Sarawak.

"Since there is an amendment, His Majesty suggested that it be scrutinised and clarified to the National Council for Islamic Religious Affairs (MKI) that he himself (the Sultan) could bring it to the Conference of Rulers' meeting.

"So, how is that contradictory? Why do you want to distort the facts? To deceive the people? Please do not lie just for the sake of gaining political mileage," he said during the Minister's Question Time at the Dewan Rakyat sitting today.

Anwar said this in reply to Datuk Dr Zulkafperi Hanapi (PN-Tanjong Karang) who used Standing Order 36(12) to demand for the Prime Minister to be referred to the Rights and Freedom Committee for allegedly making contradictory statements.

Zulkafperi referred to Anwar's statement at the Dewan Rakyat on May 23 denying the allegation that the government did not refer to the Yang di-Pertuan Agong before withdrawing its appeal on the High Cour's decision concerning the use of the word 'Allah'.

According to Zulkafperi, this was because the Sultan of Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah's statement on June 7 implied that the government had not referred the matter to the Conference of Rulers before withdrawing the appeal.

In the statement, the Sultan, as MKI chairman, also called for the issue to be taken to MKI's meeting in August before it is further discussed at the Conference of Rulers' meeting in October.

At the same time, the Prime Minister said the government's decision to withdraw the appeal had been referred to the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah through a telephone call he made to the King during the Cabin...

BOGOTA: The eldest of the four Indigenous children who were missing for more than five weeks in Colombia's southern jungle after a plane crash pulled her youngest sibling from the wreckage, the children's grandfather said on Monday.

The children, aged 1 through 13, survived the May 1 crash that killed their mother and two other adults and were found on Friday in Caqueta province after weeks of searching by the military and Indigenous communities.

The oldest sister, Lesly, whose courage has been hailed by authorities as key to the children's survival, pulled the youngest child, Cristin, from the plane, grandfather Narciso Mucutuy said in videos posted by the defense ministry.

"When she looked and saw that her mother was dead, she saw the feet of her littlest sister where the three dead were and she pulled her out," Mucutuy said at the Bogota military hospital where the children are being treated.

The children spent four days near the wreckage, he said, eating flour that had been onboard, before wandering from the site.

Lesly was exhausted by the time they were rescued, Mucutuy added. The children used large leaves and branches to shelter from the rain, he said, and spent time with one of the military rescue dogs sent to look for them.

The dog, Wilson, remains missing and an operation to find him is ongoing.

The children are recovering satisfactorily, the child welfare agency said, and have been able to see some family members, as well as draw and talk.

"The children are well, they are stable and following their medical treatment," said agency official Adriana Velasquez in a video posted on Twitter.

KUALA LUMPUR: National diving queen Datuk Pandelela Rinong has been chosen as a national unity icon recently, the Dewan Rakyat was told today.

National Unity Minister Datuk Aaron Ago Dagang said the ministry had installed Pandelela as an icon alongside leaders, artistes and sports legends as part of efforts to strengthen unity among the people.

He was replying to a supplementary question by Aminolhuda Hassan (PH-Sri Gading), who wanted to know if the ministry intended to take up his suggestion to produce a short film on a sports legend to promote unity.

The 29-year-old Pandelela, who is from Sarawak, was named the Sarawak State Sports Youth Icon in 2016 and Yakult Sports Icon in 2017.

Aaron said legendary actor the late Tan Sri P. Ramlee, who was made a unity icon, was promoted among youths in Malaysia in an exclusive exhibition on the national movie icon last March.

Meanwhile, he said the National Unity Ministry was not involved in the process of monitoring and editing dramas and films as matters related to film production and shooting come under the National Film Development Corporation Malaysia (FINAS).

He said the granting of approval for a film's content before public screening was the responsibility of the Film Censorship Board (LPF).

Aaron said the ministry's role was to monitor any issues concerning harmony and unity through the e-SEPAKAT system and implement programmes for dialogues or discussions on inter-faith understanding.

"If it is a major issue, a community mediator in the Department of National Unity can be assigned to mediate it.

"If a problem is more serious, it is referred to the relevant authorities such as PDRM (Royal Malaysia Police), MCMC...

Social Media Is a Censoring Mechanism

The truth about Facebook

from Lew Rockwell, The Danger of Propaganda, https://www.lewrockwell.com/2023/06/lew-rockwell/the-danger-of-propaganda/

Of course, propaganda has grown much more dangerous than in Huxleys time. Now, social media like Facebook have become much more powerful than television, and they spy on us and manipulate us. As Thierry Meyssan pointed out in October 2021, In the global imagination, Facebook would be a responsible social network that allows everyone to connect confidentially while censoring messages contrary to local laws. In practice, it is quite different. Facebook collects information about you for the NSA, censors your opinions and mints its own currency. In a few months, this company has become one of the most influential players in world politics.

The most important political player on the Internet is the social network Facebook. As of January 1st, 2021, it had 2.85 billion monthly active users and 1.88 billion daily active users worldwide. The social network routinely censors posts that include nude photos, sexual activity, harassment, hate speech, forgeries, spam, terrorist propaganda or violence using particularly crude and unfair artificial intelligence. It shuts down accounts that it deems dangerous, either because they have been censored several times or because they are linked to enemies of the United States.

Facebook is a huge company that includes Instagram, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, Oculus, Workplace, Portal, Novi. It employs over 60,000 people.

Facebook now issues its own currency as a state, the Libra. It is backed by a basket of currencies composed of 50% dollars, 14% yen, 11% Sterling pounds and 7% Singapore dollars.

By becoming a bank whose currency is progressively accepted by Internet sales sites, Facebook is building a parallel economy, both virtual and global, that is larger than the economy of many states.

Facebook calls on its users to detect accounts that violate its rules. It opens a file on each of its informants and notes them.

Facebook, which claims to treat every user equally, has secretly compiled a list of 5.8 million VIPs to whom its rules do not apply. Only they can say and show everything

The personal data of at least 87 million users was targeted and siphoned off by the British company Cambridge Analytica (of billionaire Robert Mercer and Steve Bannon) and its Canadian subsidiary, AggregateIQ. They were used at least:

for the election of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2014.

for 44 local elections in the US in 2014,

KUALA LUMPUR: Health Minister Dr Zaliha Mustafa has recommended that the Control of Smoking Products for Public Health Bill 2023 be referred to the Parliamentary Special Select Committee on Health for further scrutiny.

She said the move would be in accordance with Rule 54 (1) of the Standing Orders of the Dewan Rakyat for the committee to make the necessary recommendations, as well as further examine the proposed generational end game (GEG) provisions.

"Based on the engagement session held last June 6 between the Special Selection Committee on Health and Members of Parliament, professional bodies and non-governmental organisations (NGOs), there were requests for some things to be looked into and refined further.

"Therefore, the Ministry of Health suggests that it be referred to the Special Select Committee for further scrutiny by taking into account the views of all parties," she said after tabling the bill for the first reading in the Dewan Rakyat here
today.

She said the tabling of the bill for the first reading today, and the proposal to refer the bill to the Special Select Committee for further scrutiny, proved the government's commitment to ensure that the new proposed law could be approved promptly.

Meanwhile, based on the blue bill that was distributed in Parliament today, the bill aims to control the sale and purchase of tobacco products, smoking materials, tobacco substitute products and smoking devices, for the sake of public health to create a smoke-free generation.

Clauses 13 and 14 of the bill proposed the prohibition of the sale of tobacco products and smoking substances to person born on Jan 1, 2007, onwards.

The bill provides for a fine of not more than RM20,000 or imprisonment for not more than a year against anyone found selling the products to individuals born from 1 January 2007.

It also provides a fine of not more than RM500 or community service for any individual of the GEG generation who is found to have purchased the products.

Singapore's No 1 Comedian and National Icon Kumar Slams Jocelyn Chia and Apologises To All Malaysians BEST FBKL

Spore comedian Kumar slams US comic Jocelyn Chia, apologises to Malaysians

In a video posted to Instagram on Friday, Singaporean comedian Kumar tells stand-up performer Jocelyn Chia to seek help.

SINGAPORE Singaporean comedian Kumar has joined a list of fellow comedians and politicians in criticising the comments made by Jocelyn Chia about Malaysia and a missing Malaysia Airlines plane during one of her stand-up shows.

In a video uploaded to Instagram on Friday, he apologised to Malaysians over Chias comments.

I really think people shouldnt use stand-up comedy as a tool to vent out your anger and hatred. Please learn from this, he said.

Speaking directly to Chia, who was born in the US but raised in Singapore, Kumar said: If youre watching this, I really think you (should) seek help, because you really got some issues.

The 54-year-old comedian added how Singaporeans often visit Malaysia for leisure and work, and in his caption, likened both countries to being brothers and sisters.

Any animosity created is not good for us, he added.

Chia, an American citizen, had joked about the MH370 tragedy during an April 7 stand-up comedy show in New York that poked fun at the rivalry between Singapore and Malaysia.

In an 89-second video clip of her set posted on Instagram, she said: Now, Malaysia, you all are trying to come around, like, Hey Singapore, youre looking good lah. And were like, I know, but why havent you visited me in 40 years?

And (Malaysias) like, Yeah I tried, but you know, my airplanes cannot fly, she said, to laughter and audible gasps from the crowd.

She added: Why, Malaysia Airlines going missing not funny huh? Some jokes dont land.

Flight MH370 left Kuala Lumpur for Beijing in March 2014 but never arrived. To date, the plane, with 227 passengers and 12 crew members, has not been located.

Other Singaporean entertainers such as Selena Tan and Sebastian Tan, and UFM100.3 radio DJ Huang Wenhong had also weighed in on the issue.

Speaking to Chinese-language daily Lianhe Zaobao, Sebastian Tan described Chias comments as vulgar and disrespectful to the victims and families of the MH370 tragedy, while Huang said it was despicable for Chia to use the grief of others for her own benefit.

Actress Selena Tan told the Chinese Daily that comedy is about making observations about real but sensitive issues, which is why there is often a fine line between funny...

KETUA jurulatih olahraga negara, Zaki Sadri, menggesa setiap atlet supaya buat rujukan terlebih dahulu sebelum mengambil sebarang makanan atau produk tambahan.

Germanys Top Tank Destroyed on Ukrainian Frontlines: Leopard 2A6 and Dozens of American Bradleys Taken Out "IndyWatch Feed War"

Military Watch Magazine June 9, 2023

Since the initiation of Ukraines mass offensive against Russian positions the Ukrainian Army and allied paramilitaries have begun to actively deploy new batches of armour received from Western countries, including not only very large numbers of Leopard 1 and Leopard 2A4 tanks, but also the much more capable Leopard 2A6 which, alongside the British Challenger 2, is considered the most capable in the countrys inventory. While Leopard 2A4s have proven highly vulnerable in combat with armour protection that is effectively obsolete, as best demonstrated by Turkish use of the vehicles against local militias in Syria and Iraq, the Leopard 2A6 has long been marketed as a much more capable vehicle. Costing close to $8 million per vehicle, advantages of the new variant include use of 3rd generation composite armour, integration of a a longer barrelled and more powerful main gun, installation of additional armour modules on the turret, and use of much improved fire controls. The loss of these tanks, which have widely been considered the most capable in production across the Western world, has significant implications well beyond Ukraine itself.

MOTHER OF MISSING MALAYSIAN IN THAILAND DOESN'T BELIEVE FB VIDEOS

SAYING SHE'S SAFE

10/06/2023 08:24 PM

KULAI, June  10  (Bernama) -- The mother of Chong Sum Yee, 22, who was reported missing  in Chiang Mai, Thailand, does not believe the viral videos of her daughter claiming she is safe and healthy.

Chee Choy Won said this was because the videos were uploaded by a new Facebook account named Moe Aye.

The 50-year-old woman said Sum Yee was also difficult to get in touch with and had been avoiding questions about her whereabouts.

Chee said she managed to contact Sum Yee at 8 pm last night via WhatsApp, and her daughter wanted her to withdraw the police report.

We talked for a few minutes last night, Sum Yee said she was safe and asked us not to look for her and to withdraw the police report but she was talking quite fast, like in a hurry.

Every time I asked her where she was, she didn't answer and repeatedly said she was safe. Im not sure what happened, but (I believe) there is a possibility that she has become a victim of human trafficking or a scam," she told a press conference at the Johor DAP headquarters here today.

The mother of two said she flew to Thailand with her son Chong Jeng Wei, 23, and Johor DAP Political Education director Alan Tee Boon Tsong on June 6 for four days.

However, Chee said the Thai police informed them that there was a possibility that her daughter was in Myanmar, therefore, the Thai and Myanmar police are working

together to trace Sum Yee who was supposed to return to Malaysia on June 7.

Meanwhile, Jeng Wei said he was worried  when his younger sister, who works as a beautician in Kuala Lumpur, told him that she wanted  to go to Thailand alone because she had never travelled abroad alone.

He said they were getting more worried when Sum Yee said it was for work, which had been denied by the employer.

The three videos were posted by an unknown Facebook user named 'Moe Aye' in the comment section of a post made by her mother.

A former Marine claims he and five comrades saw a flying saucer being loaded with weapons while serving in Indonesia in 2009 - and was threatened at gunpoint by unmarked US forces at the scene. The wild story comes after an Air Force whistleblower from the government's UFO office joined growing numbers of intelligence officials claiming the US has recovered and is even reverse-engineering crashed or landed 'non-human' spacecraft. Michael Herrera was a 20-year-old rifleman sent on a Navy humanitarian mission during the 2009 Sumatra earthquake and tsunami that devastated the region. Twitter Mass Deletes Videos of Syrian Asylum Seeker Who Stabbed Children in France "IndyWatch Feed War"

Jim Hoft The Gateway Pundit June 8, 2023

On Thursday, The Gateway Pundit reported that police arrested a migrant from Syria for a mass stabbing attack targeting children in a park in Annecy, France.

Various reports have stated the number of injured is as high as eight. However, the latest report states four children and two adults were wounded in the attack, with two children and one of the adults hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.

French outlet Le Dauphine reports the attacker was yelling in the name of Jesus Christ (language not stated):

Via translation: The author cried out In the name of Jesus Christ The assailant said In the name of Jesus Christ twice at the time of the attack. The man, who was wearing a Christian cross when he was arrested, presented himself as a Christian from Syria when applying for asylum at the French Office for the Protection of Refugees and Stateless Persons (Ofpra) on November 28, 2022.

Video showing a minute-and-a-half of the attack has gone viral.

However, Twitter has begun to mass delete videos linked to the appalling incident in France involving a Syrian asylum seeker.

Some users argue that this move amounts to censorship, contending that it restricts free speech and impedes the spread of information. Critics suggest that social media giants like Twitter have too much power in shaping public discourse and potentially hiding important realities.

You can watch George Floyds death, which was broadcast to hundreds of millions of people, because it purports to portray a racist white cop murdering a black man in cold blood. But you cant watch a Syrian migrant stab women and toddlers at a French playground because doing so would make you racist. Let that sink in, said Malaysian commentator Ian Miles Cheong.

Turning Point USA Ambassador and conservative commentator Rogan OHandley aka DC Draino, wrote, Almost every video of the Syrian refugee stabbing multiple children in a park in France has been scrubbed from the biggest free speech platform in the world How much you want to bet that order was given by the EU govt to hide the violence caused by their open border policies?

He added, When the George Floyd video came out, it wa...

Racehorses at Churchill Downs "IndyWatch Feed War"

Horse named Lost in Limbo dies at Churchill Downs

Arthur Firstenberg Cell Phone Task Force June 8, 2023

Racehorses are among the most finely tuned, exquisitely sensitive creatures on earth. So what happens when you give them all cell phones to wear during a race? They start dropping like well, horses.

That is exactly what started happening this spring at Churchill Downs in Louisville, home of the world-famous Kentucky Derby. Churchill Downs hosts three meets every year during which there are horse races four to five days a week a spring meet lasting all of May and June; a September meet; and a fall meet throughout November. The spring meet this year at the Downs began on April 29 and was to continue until July 3. And beginning on April 29, and in every race on every day thereafter, every horse was fitted with a device they had never worn before. It is a wireless device, shaped like an iPhone, that fits into the cloth underneath the saddle on the horses back. Horses also began wearing these devices this spring during morning workouts.

This STRIDESafe device monitors the horses movements 2,400 times per second throughout the race, sending 2,400 pulses of radio frequency (RF) radiation every second through the body of the horse. It also contains a GPS component that communicates with global positioning satellites. It also communicates with the RFID chip implanted in the left side of every horses neck, ensuring that the chip also emits radiation throughout the race. And because every racehorse wears horseshoes made of aluminum, which is one of the best conductors, the frequencies that are conducted from both the STRIDESafe device and the RFID chip throughout the horses body are absorbed and reradiated by its four shoes. Each horse, then, carries not one but six continuously radiating antennas throughout each race at Churchill Downs. So with 14 horses normally competing in each race, there are 84 antennas among animals in close proximity to one another running around the track.

WEF demands 75% global reduction of cars by 2050 "IndyWatch Feed War"

What comes first, the 75% reduction of humanity or the 75% reduction of their cars?

Decarbonization = Depopulation

The 2nd Smartest Guy in the world June 9, 2023

by TCS WIRE

The World Economic Forum (WEF) Great Reset agenda was on full blast recently after the organization published a blueprint to drastically cut the number of personal vehicles globally from 1.45 billion to 500 million by the year 2050.

If achieved, the massive cut to car ownership would be a 75% reduction in the total number of cars in the entire world.

Why do we need personal vehicles if were all confined to our WEF-mandated 15-minute cities anyways, right?

The white paper titled The Urban Mobility Scorecard Tool: Benchmarking the Transition to Sustainable Urban Mobility was co-authored with Visa and demands that municipalities put limits on the use of private cars.

At its core is a tool called the Urban Mobility Scorecard, which measures how well cities are performing in four areas: shared, electric, connected and automated transportation along with other UN-style sustainable development goals.

The paper also showcases three cities that have participated in a pilot test of the tool: Buenos Aires, Argentina; Curitiba, Brazil; and Singapore.

The capital of Argentina is seeking to enhance sustainable mobility to keep people moving while offering more connected, integrated transport, writes the WEF.

According to the document, by following these recommendations, cities can achieve a 95% reduction in carbon dioxide emissions from urban mobility, a claim it makes without any hard evidence.

The paper argues that it will require public-private collaboration at a global scale to complete their goals.

No one city, or one company, can achieve this vision alone, the WEF states.

Through strong public-private collaboration, we can find innovative, impactful, and context-sensitive solutions for mobility to enable a sustainable future for cities.

Its latest tool is in line with the WEFs plan that by 2030 youll own nothing and be happy.

As previously reported by The Counter Signal, the Trudeau Liberals signed a WEF-led charter.

The Urban Mobility Scorecard is yet another node in the X Everything App social credit score nexus.

Former Greenpeace Canada president said it best:

There is no definitive...
