John Bolton Accidentally Explains Why US Policy on Russia and China Is Wrong "IndyWatch Feed War"

Caitlin Johnstone CaitlinJohnstone.org July 7, 2023

Professional psychopath John Bolton has an article out with The Hill titled America cant permit Chinese military expansion in Cuba which inadvertently spells out exactly whats wrong with the way the US empire keeps amassing heavily armed proxy forces on the borders of its large Asiatic enemies.

Citing a Wall Street Journal report from last month in which anonymous US officials claim that Havana has entered negotiations with Beijing for a possible future joint military training facility in Cuba, Bolton argues that the US must use any amount of aggression necessary to prevent this facilitys construction, up to and including regime change interventionism.

The potential of significant Chinese facilities in Cuba is a red-flag threat to America, Bolton writes, arguing that such activities could well camouflage offensive weapons, delivery systems or other threatening capabilities.

For example, hypersonic cruise missiles, already harder to detect, track, and destroy than ballistic missiles, are natural candidates for installation in Cuba, a prospect we cannot tolerate, along with many other risks, like a Chinese submarine base, he adds.

All of which are arguments that could be made pretty much note-for-note by Russia and China about the ways the US has been threatening their security interests with war machinery in their immediate surroundings.

Arguing that the US is bound by no commitment limiting our use of force, Bolton advocates Revoking diplomatic relations with Cuba; increased economic sanctions against both China and Cuba; and far stricter implementation of existing sanctions as an immediate response to this reported development, advocating regime change interventionism as an ultimate solution to Cubas disobedient behavior.

Had Presidents Eisenhower or Kennedy acted more forcefully and effectively against Castro, we might have avoided many per...

The UN has designated July as the goal of employment and decent work for all.   According to the report, the world is still suffering under inflation, supply chain disruptions, and labour market challenges.   Their social-economic report discusses social protection, a social recovery, social cohesion, social resilience, and a different economy

As such, Agenda 2030 has designated Julys monthly goal  decent work :

Me: What the fark is decent work?

UN: Decent work is productive and delivers a fair income

Me: What the fark is fair income?

UN: Universal minimum income subject to fair taxes

Me: What the fark are fair taxes?

UN: The Committee will decide

The Committee is the UN and the UN has embarked on a global Dictatorship/Monarchy whereby they act as King and King.   Only China has recently decided to give the thumbs down on the Climate Gamut.   Kerry fell flat on his face attempting to extricate/extort money from China this past weekend.   And Jinping seems to have abandoned the notion that the US is anything more than a pariah

So while the US is busily making more and more enemies China has set out to become the face of the good guy. The West is now disliked by everyone including themselves.   Even Obamas precious Africa is turning their back to the White House.

China has become the Tortoise in the story of the Tortoise and the Hare.   It involves itself in no wars.   Instead it is in Ghana giving free surgeries and births.   They are in Algeria to work more closely together. They are forging technology in Pakistan. And more businesses are entering the China market from Germany, Japan, and the UK while the US is pulling out.

So in all this Communist manifesto of fairness Xi Jinpings net worth is estimated to be somewhere between $1.2 billion and $72 billion give or take I guess that represents the capitalist part of communism adopted by the US Government.

A specialized agency of the UN is the Food and Agriculture Organization. Created in 1945 by FDR, he held a conference at the luxury Omni Homestead Resort with all his best buddies to forge this new sub-agency.   Four months later they needed another conference, this one was held at the famed Chateau Frontenac in Quebec. For some reason Motel 8 is never considered.

The mission of the Food and Agriculture Organization is to defeat global hunger and improve nutrition and food security.   Unfortunately, it is not working, although Im sure a lot of food security could have been created from the hotel bill.

Budgeting a mere $1 billion to $1.6 billion this UN organization has accomplished absolutely nothing.  For 78 years.

Qu Dongyu is the Director General.   Hes from China where he is a member of the communist party. The US declared that his winni...

Should America Dominate the World? "IndyWatch Feed Politics.us"

Forty years ago, during the final decade of the Cold War, nobody had any illusions about America being perfect. Without wallowing in the topic, we all knew our nation had ongoing social and economic problems, and that our history was filled with examples of oppression. But for most Americans, understanding the grim reality of life for people living in the Soviet Union provided clarity. It was understood that no country is perfect, and compared to the USSR, living in America was paradise.

The argument that America, by a wide margin, is the lesser of two evils, does not get the traction today that it got during the Cold War. But there is no justification for its diminished relevance. Despite alarming new challenges to the rights and freedoms of American citizens, the gap between America and its contemporary rivals, Russia and China, is as wide as its ever been. And in the case of China, the magnitude of the threat they now pose to American global leadership is far more than anything the USSR could have once posed.

These considerations give rise to a pair of sobering questions: First, is China an expansionist nation, committed to growing powerful enough to dominate the world and impose its vision of human rights onto all of humanity? Second, before we level well deserved criticisms on American foreign and domestic policies, shouldnt we compare these policies to those practiced by the Chinese government? Forty years ago, those questions mattered. Today, we need to revisit these questions.

Does China Intend to Dominate the World?

China is committed to an expansionist strategy. In just the last century, an era during which Western powers were relinquishing their claims to foreign colonies, China has annexed Inner Mongolia, Tibet, and Xinjiang. The Chinese have absorbed Hong Kong, cracking down on human rights they had pledged to uphold. They have lopped off chunks of Indian Kashmir as well as the northern portion of Indian state of Assam. The Chinese openly declare their intention to absorb the independent nation of Taiwan. Theyre even claiming virtually all of the South China Sea, in defiance of every other bordering nation.

Chinas expansionist tensions with neighboring nations and Borg like assimilation of the occupied nations within its borders should provide clues to how it treats all its citizens. Chinas population is more than 90 percent comprised of the Han ethnic group, and they are probably the most surveilled, micromanaged population on earth. Any dissent that deviates from the collective is immediately suppressed.

One may go on endlessly about allegedly parallel encroachments on the rights of Americans to express dissent, but it isnt remotely comparable to what Chinese people go through. The regime of Xi Jinping has turned China into the worlds biggest prison camp, with nearly 1.4 billion inmates. Law enforce...
